Trần Phan

I'm an Assistant Professor at the Department of Research on the Languages and Cultures of Taiwan and Vietnam, Faculty of Ethnolinguistics, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. My name is pronounced /ʈə̆n˨˩ fan˧/. I go by Phan Ngọc Trần in my home country, and 潘玉陳 in the Chinese-speaking world.

My current (narrow) research interests include non-canonical wh-interrogatives, mood and modal projections, negation, scalarity and additivity, finiteness distinctions, similative and associative plurality, grammaticalization, and Old Vietnamese, among others.
